Health Data Vision, Inc. Simplifies Medical Record Review Validation Response for HEDIS Compliance Audits

Health Data Vision, Inc. (HDVI), a healthcare analytics company that provides a SaaS platform for medical records analysis, has announced the release of a new feature that automatically generates Medical Record Review Validation (MRRV) Audit response packages for Health Plans. This MRRV Wizard feature was officially released on HDVI’s SaaS platform on May 6, 2013.

MRRV has become increasingly demanding for Health Plans as timelines for the HEDIS quality assessment projects have become tighter than ever before. Poor HEDIS Hybrid performance typically results in significant loss of revenue for Health Plans. HDVI’s MRRV Wizard is hitting the market at the time when health plans are scrambling to meet MRRV deadlines for HEDIS 2013 projects while they are trying to get as much valid chart information possible too.

HDVI has developed the MRRV Wizard with input from customers and industry insiders like HDVI’s COO, Michael Curran, who recently joined HDVI from United Healthcare. “Every day of the chart review season is critical, especially those final days when Health Plans are trying to find those last few charts to achieve their goals. NCQA’s new MRRV requirements shorten the timeline for review, and increase the complexity of the audit. HDVI’s automated MRRV Wizard allows plans to maximize their chart review time while simplifying hand-offs between the Health Plan and Compliance Auditors.”

HDVI stated that this is just one of the many innovative features on the product roadmap for upcoming software releases.
