For example, our on-site chart-collection allows for very high volume of medical charts per day processed. Automatically uploading medical records via a secure wireless connection to our secure data center in real time not only move the MR extremely fast through the process. It also removes the chart from the laptop (where it would be safe even if it stayed there) and medical records or copies thereof never leave the provider location. And, if the technician made a mistake or even deliberately tried to obtain or transmit a record anywhere but the secure data center, that is not possible. Their equipment is completely locked down. They can only do what they are supposed to do.
